Spring Fiber Fling Preview - Second Friday, April 8th 2011 from 6 PM to 9 PM Saturday, April 9th 2011 from 10 AM to 4 PM 
The North Star of Lititz is presenting Spring Fiber Fling, a gathering of local fiber artists expressing their “artistic visions in fiber”. The artists will be demonstrating and displaying their art using traditional and modern methods with unique fiber creations for sale. The artists involved are Portia Bowman (wearable art), Rose Clay (Wool-work with Embroidery), Lydia Dierwechter (felted wool purses), Betty Krull (rug hooking) and Ginney Weaver (One of a kind fabric bags). The Spring Fiber Fling is held inside, so it is a rain or sun shine event taking place on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 from 10 AM - 4 PM. A preview by will be held during Lititz’s Second Friday, April 8th, 2011 from 6 PM to 9 PM. The North Star of Lititz is located at 521 E. Main St, Lititz PA 17543, with plenty of free off street parking. The inspiration for Spring Fiber Fling comes from The North Star of Lititz’s owner Gwen Snavely’s love of fiber art. Glass art is featured at The North Star of Lititz with a focus on glass jewelry by North American artists.
